Agrotors Helicopter Power Line Maintenance |
a 2 man crew in what looks like an Hughes 500 on a Windy/gusty afternoon in August of 2000. The helicopter crew is from Agrotors which is located in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This video was filmed just south of the Maryland / Pennsylvania state line about 1 mile west of Maryland highway Route 30. This pilot keeps this helicopter very steady despite some gusty winds. Agrotors performs power line maintenance, agricultural spraying and many other things. Check out their website for more details. |

Helicopter lifts helicopter |
| A couple friends of mine were flying the helicopter thats in the water when it had an engine failure. They performed an autorotation and set it in the water. They could have probably made it to the beach but they felt that a power-off landing in the sand was too risky since the sandbar wasn't very wide and sloped fairly steeply, so they sacrificed the helicopter. This is footage of it being pulled out of the water by a Bell 407. | |
